PacifiCare of Nevada was born when when PacifiCare Health Systems entered the Nevada market as FHP Healthcare in 1992.
Since that day more than a decade ago, PacifiCare of Nevada has made cost-effective HMO plans available to companies with as few as five employees as well as to individuals without health insurance and seniors age 65+ and eligible for Medicare.
Today, PacifiCare of Nevada serves more than 68,000 people, including some of Nevada's largest employers. It has a provider network of more than 1,000 primary care physicians and specialists, seven hospitals, and 88 pharmacies located throughout the state of Nevada.
Pacificare of Nevada's Signature Freedom plan is a PPO for individuals.
PacifiCare of Nevada also provides services to Medicare Advantage customers thought its Secure Horizons Medicare HMO plan.
