MinnesotaCare

MinnesotaCare is a state sponsored health insurance program that was designed to provide affordable health insurance coverage to Minnesota residents who currently do not have access to such coverage.

To be eligible for MinnesotaCare you must meet the following eligibility criteria: 1) You must be a Minnesota resident and have a SSN# 2) If you do not have children living with you, you must have lived in MN for at least 6 mo. 3) must be uninsured for at least 4 mo. 4) not have access to employer-sponsored coverage in which employer pays at least half of cost.
