Harvard Pilgrim Health Care provides health care coverage in Massachusetts andMaine and is the parent company of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care of New England which provides coverage in New Hampshire. Harvard Pilgrim is also the parent company of HPHC Insurance Company, an indemnity insurance company in Massachusetts andNew Hampshire.

Harvard Pilgrim offers a variety of plan choices, including a health maintenance organization (HMO), a point-of-service (POS) and preferred provider organization (PPO) plan. They also feature aplan to supplement Medicare called First Seniority.
