Founded in 1991, CHA Health's provider network formed when a group of Kentucky hospitals joined together to develop an integrated healthcare delivery network. That network of physicians and hospitals contracted with self-funded and managed care organizations. In 1995 the group took the next step, became CHA Health, and provided not only the network, but also participated as a health insurer. In two years, CHA Health grew to 80,000 members, and since its inception has streamlined operations and secured financial stability.
Today, CHA Health is a managed care organization (MCO) and a provider network with more plans to fit your needs and a dedicated customer service team whose only goal is your satisfaction. With over 190,000 commercial members and over 15,000 providers in their network - they've grown to become one of the largest MCO's headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky.
