Blue Advantage is the BCBSNC flagship product for individuals under age 65 without group health insurance.

Blue Advantage offers three different plans, so you can choose the plan and deductible that works best for you! Blue Advantage also boosts one of the state's largest networks, which includes more than 17,000 physicians and 100 hospitals (more than 85% of all the hospitals in North Carolina).

Blue Advantage Plan A, offers you the security of great coverage with low co-pays. This plan is great for people who don't mind paying more each month, so they'll pay less out-of-pocket when they need health care.

Blue Advantage Plan B, is ideal for people who want a lower monthly payment. However, they will share in a greater portion of their health care costs when they visit the doctor through higher co-payments for services, such as doctor visits, emergency room services and prescription drugs.

Blue Advantage also provides out of network benefits, including coverage when traveling out of state, and value added 'Blue Extras' programs at no additional charge.
