NC Health Choice

North Carolina Health Insurance for Children

North Carolina Health Choice for Children (NCHC) is a free or reduced price health insurance program for children living in North Carolina whose families make too much money to qualify for Medicaid but still can't afford health insurance with the escalation in costs that we see today.

NCHC covers: physician and clinic services, laboratory services, dental, vision, prescription drug benefits and many more other covered benefits.

To be eligible for NC Health Choice, your household income must be less than 200% of federal income limits.

"I just wanted to say thanks for helping me find a health insurance plan so efficiently. Your comparison listings are great - I 'sorted' through the quotes and selected a Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plan within my budget. I wasn't looking forward to shopping for health insurance, thanks for making is so easy."
