Misouri Health Insurance for Children
MO Healthnet for Kids is Missouri's state-sponsored health program for uninsured children in Missouri.
The MO HealthNet for Kids program provides children with comprehensive health insurance coverage including primary, acute and preventative care, hospital care, dental and vision care as well as prescription drug coverage.
To be eligible for MO Healthnet for Kids children must meet the following criteria: 1) under age 19, 2) lives in Missouri, 3) has or has applied for a SSN 4) a US citizen or qualified non-citizen 5) parents must comply with Child Support Enforcement and 6) meet specific family income guidelines
The Health Plan providers that may be used under MO Healthnet for kids depends on the region but include the following health plans: Blue Advantage Plus, Children's Mercy Family Health Partners, Health Care USA, Mercy CarePlus, Missouri Care and Harmony Health Plan of Misouri
