Michigan Health Insurance for Children

MIChild is a low cost health insurance program, designed for Michigan residents that meet eligibility requirements that are based on household income limits.

MIChild is for uninsured children of Michigan's working families.  Their health care services are provided by many top Michigan HMO and other top health plans located in Michigan.

MIChild covers:  Check-ups, shots, emergency care, dental care, prescriptions, hospital care, vision & hearing, pre-natal care, mental health and substance abuse and more.

To qualify, child must:  Be a Michigan resident, be under age 19, be currently uninsured, meet income requirements, and be a US citizen.
