Indiana Health Insurance for Children

The Hoosier Healthwise Program is a healthcare program for children, pregnant women and low-income families that reside in the great state of Indiana.

Hoosier Healthwise covers doctor visits, prescription drugs, mental health care, dental care, hospitalizations, surgeries, and family planning at little or no cost.

The Following health plans are available to Hoosier Healthwise members:  Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Managed Health Services (MHS), and MDWise

There are three distinct plans available:  1) Plan A (a full-service plan for pregnant women, children and families 2) Plan B (a limited service plan for pregnant women) and 3) Plan C (a full service plan for children only)

The Healthy Indiana Plan is another state sponsored health insurance plan, which is available to adults over age 18.
