PersonalBlue Saver by Capital BlueCross

Capital BlueCross has introduced a new plan called PersonalBlue Saver PPO which will cater to individuals with specific health insurance needs.  The insurer recognizes that health insurance products can vary widely and this product will look to fulfill a variety of needs.  Sometimes people want protection from unexpected medical costs, but they want to save money by avoiding full coverage.

One of the important features of this plan is that it offers a choice of three deductible levels.  The cost cutting will come from a plan designed specifically for the individual with reduced benefit options such as limited doctor visits, or a prescription plan that only covers generic drugs.

Cindy Hatcher, Captial BlueCross Senior Director Individual Products, says that they recognize the health insurance industry is always changing and they monitor these changes to respond quickly to the consumer’s needs.  They are constantly adapting and adding products to meet the current needs of the community as the marketplace continues to change.  The PersonalBlue Saver PPO Plan looks to bring a practical approach to a money-saving health plan.
