San Bernardino & Riverside counties are set to launch new low-income health plans pending sign-off on paperwork by Federal Government. Leadership of both counties believe that the plans could be live by January 1 2012.
San Bernardino’s plan is called Arrowcare, while Riverside Counties plan is named Riverside County Healthcare. Both plans will cover residents who don’t qualify for Medi-Cal, California’s Medicaid program.
These two plans would be phased out by 2014 and enrolled members would transition into plans established by Affordable care Act.
