We are in the midst of Medicare open enrollment — which runs through December 7th this year — so we thought we would profile a number of Medicare Advantage plans for our readers. The first of these such plans is Regence Medadvantage, a Medicare Advantage PPO offered by Regence Blue Shield of Washington.
There are three Regence MedAdvantage options:
1) Regence MedAdvantage + RX enhanced ($211/mo in 2012)
2) Regence MedAdvantage + RX Classic and($119/mo in 2012)
3) Regene MedAdvantage Basic. ($79/mo in 2012)
All three of these plans are PPO plans, with the only difference being whether or not they include benefits for Prescription drugs, and at what level.
Regence BlueShield also offers a stand-alone Medicare Part D plan called “Medicare Script”, and Medicare Supplement Plans called “Regence Bridge Medigap”
visit the Regence Blue Shield of WA website (wa.regence.com) for a detailed explanation of benefits
