Based on a recent news release from the Cleveland-based Medical Mutual of Ohio, JD Power and Associates has ranked an Ohio insurer as being the highest in member satisfaction in the state. The JD Power and Associates 2011 Ohio Health Insurance Plan Study has given Medical Mutual of Ohio this honor. The 2011 Member Satisfaction award is the 2nd time in the last three years Medical Mutual has been named. This is a great honor for them and they work hard to maintain this status.
Medical Mutual received the highest score in Ohio based on a 1000 point scale. In addition to this scoring, Medical Mutual ranks well in three of the seven factors reviewed. These include customer service, provider choice, and statements. The health insurance company also received an overall satisfaction rating of “among the best” also known as “five Power Circle Ratings”.
The survey also shows that Medical Mutual is strong in Coverage and Benefits, Information and Communication, Claims Processing, and Approval Processes. Medical Mutual’s CEO and President Rick Chiricosta says the survey results are a demonstration of the hard work and dedication the employees put into the company. Confidence in the company increases knowing that their customers are ranking them highest in the state. Medical Mutual is reminded that serving their customers is a priority that never ends and they continue to work towards being the best health insurance company they can be.
