  1. Fill out the Initial Enrollment Questionnaire
  2. Fill out an Authorization form
  3. Make a “Welcome to Medicare” Physical Exam appointment
  4. Sign up for MyMedicare.gov for easy Medicare access
  5. Choose and join a Medicare Drug Plan
  6. Download a copy of “Your Medicare Benefits”

The process is simplified by the government to ensure everyone can understand what steps are necessary to receive the Medicare benefits they deserve.  Medicare.gov is a secure online site designed to be user-friendly for everyone.  It’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with the site and ensure your health insurance needs will be met with your Medicare supplement plan.
