According to the article “Blue Cross Launches New Insurance Plans For Small Businesses” by Melissa Burden on Detnews.com, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan has launched a more affordable plan for their small business customers.  This is great news for small business owners who may be shopping for a PPO insurance quote.

This nonprofit insurance company, which currently has 4.4 million Michigan customers, has implemented Simply Blue, which offers numerous deductible and copay options and can also be paired with a health reimbursement account or a HSA (health savings account).

John Dunn, the VP of middle and small group sales for BCBSMI says this new PPO insurance plan is uniquely designed and offers competitive prices for their small business owners, which in today’s environment is invaluable.  They also have other PPO and HMO plans that will be available to their small business owners in 2011.
