Florida Health Insurance

According to a recent article found on USA Today’s website by The Associated Press, the state of Florida has ordered the halt of unauthorized health insurance being sold.  Some consumers have already fallen victim to some unauthorized Florida health insurance.

Florida ordered the Association of Independent Managers to immediately stop selling health insurance which has been unauthorized.  The order came today from the Office of Insurance Regulation but unfortunately, approximately 1800 Florida residents have already purchased individual health insurance or other health plans which are not valid.  Alex Sink, the Chief Financial Officer, says the insurance department is working hard with regulators to hold the perpetrators responsible for their actions.

Regulators stated that the company marketing health insurance policies which were unauthorized under several names, some of which include AIM Health Plans, AIM Health Solutions, AIM Guaranteed Health Insurance, CEO Club Benefits, Chief Executive Officers Club, as well as CEO Health Select.
