The Missouri Health Insurance Pool is part of the health care overhaul which is federal.  It covers Missouri residents with pre-existing conditions who have not had health insurance for at least 6 months.  This high risk pool will be available until 2014.  This is when federal law will require health insurers to cover all applicants with pre-existing conditions.
