Kaiser Foundation Health Plan received the JD Power Award for the best health plan according to the 2010 Health Insurance Plan Study found on JDPower.com’s website.  They received an Among the Best rating in the overall experience category and ranked well in all other categories.

California health insurance has many companies to choose from such as Blue Shield of California, Health Net UnitedHealthCare, and Kaiser Foundation which ranked the best.  Kaiser also received an Among the Best rating in the coverage and benefits category as well as Information and Communication.  They received the highest ranking for claims processing, statements, customer service and approval processes.  They ranked average in provider choice.  Cigna actually ranked Among the Best in Provider Choice but only average in other categories.
